Adding an Activity Number to an Existing Transaction
When we enter an invoice and forget to add a GL Activity number, we have the ability to add it after the fact in the General Ledger. Follow these steps:
- Go to General Ledger | Journals | Enter Journal Amounts.
- Specify the appropriate Journal and Period.
- Click the Edit button on the toolbar.
- Find the transaction in the grid below and click on it.
- Add the Activity Number in the Activity field.
- Enter through all fields to save the change.
- Repeat steps 4 through 6 to edit other transactions.
