Adding an Activity Number to an Existing Transaction

When we enter an invoice and forget to add a GL Activity number, we have the ability to add it after the fact in the General Ledger.  Follow these steps:
  1. Go to General Ledger | Journals | Enter Journal Amounts.
  2. Specify the appropriate Journal and Period.
  3. Click the Edit button on the toolbar.
  4. Find the transaction in the grid below and click on it.
  5. Add the Activity Number in the Activity field.
  6. Enter through all fields to save the change.
  7. Repeat steps 4 through 6 to edit other transactions.
