Enable access to Update Calculations menu item

A new menu item titled Update Calculation is available in the 2019.11 release.  This routine allows you to update your tax tables automatically.  Because it is a new menu item, access will need to be granted for any users responsible for updating tax tables. 

If you use Groups, follow these instructions.  If you need to update an individual user's rights, skip to the next section.
  1. In Connect, go to System Management | Security | Setup/Modify Group Rights.
  2. Enter the group Name or search for the group that makes changes to tax tables by clicking the Search button on the toolbar. 
  3. Expand Payroll | Organization | Miscellaneous in the Rights grid.
  4. Click Access Granted on the Update Calculations menu item.
  5. Click Close.


If you need to update an individual User's rights, follow these instructions.
  1. In Connect, go to System Management | Security | Setup/Modify User Rights.
  2. Enter the group User or search for the user that makes changes to tax tables by clicking the Search button on the toolbar. 
  3. Expand Payroll | Organization | Miscellaneous in the Rights grid.
  4. Click Expiicity Allow on the Update Calculations menu item.
  5. Click Close.
