Entering a Payment on an AR Invoice in miViewPoint Cash Receipting Video
There are several different scenarios in which a payment can be entered on an AR invoice in miViewPoint Cash Receipting. Depending on the circumstances and how you are entering the payment, the system will behave differently. This video walks through 4 different scenarios
- A customer is paying off their entire balance due regardless of whether it is one invoice outstanding or multiple invoices outstanding.
- A customer is paying off their entire balance due regardless of whether it is one invoice outstanding or multiple invoices outstanding with the Manual Allocation button active.
- A customer is paying off a partial amount of their balance outstanding.
- Looking up by invoice number rather than by customer name or number.
