How do I reopen a closed period?

How do I reopen a closed period?

If you have the proper permissions, you have the ability to reopen a closed period.  Follow these steps:

1.  Open General Ledger > Organization > Organization.
2. Find the Last period closed field.  Change the field to the period preceding the period you would like to reopen.  For example, if you wish to reopen period 10/YY, change this field to 9/YY.
3. Click Close.

You should now be able to get back into that period.
