Joining Forces to Create Govineer Solutions

We are excited to announce that Civic Systems is becoming a part of a new, market-leading government accounting and utility billing software company, Govineer Solutions.

What is happening?  Backed by Salt Lake City-based private equity firm Peterson Partners and other investors, Govineer Solutions is the new parent company for three leaders in the local government accounting and utility billing space: Civic Systems, Caselle and Black Mountain Software.  These three businesses have over 100 years of combined history serving over 2,000 local government customers throughout the nation.  We are excited to leverage the strengths, expertise, and resources across all the teams to continue to improve our software platform and services for you!

What does this mean for you, our customers? The Civic Systems team and brand aren't going anywhere.  The applications you use, the Civic Systems team members you work with and our drive to serve you at the highest level won't be changing!  With the incremental resources of Govineer Solutions, we will keep working to improve the software as we have, adding features and efficiency enhancements every day along with increasing our service delivery to you, our valued customers.

    It is that time of year again to perform our year-end procedures. Year-end documentation such as procedure guides, tax rate changes and videos are now available. Please utilize these resources to help step you through the procedures needed to close out year-end in accounts payable, general ledger and payroll.
